Oil demand in China up year over year. Yes. Up. Oil prices falling has been a technical move and nothing more. 

Im still buying Pou. If you think I'm wrong, short the damn thing and see how that plays out.

W/r to China, it's not that simple IMO. They can manipulate their currency by keeping the yuan low to help their mfg exports, they can then use their foreign currency reserves/surplus to buy commodities (Swiss invest theirs in the stock market). The oil bears are quick to ignore the pattern of OECD inventories drawing much quicker than normal –  we estimate August drew by a massive 36 million barrels when last year they built by 26 million barrels, a huge swing of 62 million barrels.

Just looking at the 20 year trend on oil prices seems to indicate lower highs and lower lows especially since the highs of the early 2010s. North America is now awash with cheap oil and gas due to fracking which really emerged in the last 15 to 20 years. OPEC is likely REALLY awash with even cheaper and more plentiful oil ( just my belief) which could be only exacerbating north America's price ...more

I'm not day trading. Own a ton. But it's easy to pick the bottom and top from the bleachers. Different story when you are on the field. When this gets to $7, which it will in the next 12 months, I'm taking Honeypot for a steak dinner.
