pou pays 90 cents a NVA shares

180 million *.9 = 162 million

NVA debt 650 Million
POU Deb 800 Million

Total Debt = 1.612 billion bank like 2.1 billion

Shares 134 million

3.5 billion enterprise value

Share price = 14.00 dollars a share

Issue 30 million share at 14 dollars = debt of 1.2 billion

IMHO

It always adds up, from what i see.

POU and NVA need to get out of mid cap space.

first you say 50 cents , then 90 cents ...just let POO concentrate on getting that 750 MIL of DEBT down first.

Enteruser - we all know Pou has debt. So do I.   I had to borrow to reload in the 90 cents range and that was a solid move. Ballsy but good.  Paramount has well costs down now. Liquids rich. Making money now and even more with higher condy prices and prices. You are going to be looking at debt and miss the ride to $5 - 8.   But every investor has a view and that's what makes ...more

Few companies are doing cash takeouts, except the big guys (like CNRL doing cash for the little Pony).  Most now are share deals, which is what POU could do with NVA or BIR, if they could get their SP higher.  As mentioned before, many of the "Teams" are looking for a severance cash out (BIR comes to mind) and the winner then has to run the combined enterprise and put the ...more

problem is , no one can get their share price higher...
Comment by energee on Oct 27, 2020 8:40pm
Any deal would be at a trailing 20 or 30 day SP. It is what is is.

If it's a hostile take over it would have to be cash, they wouyld try to sweeten the deal at 15% premium to 20 or 30 day trailing. They can't afford it. And if it's too cheap , then another company would just see the deal and bid just a little higher and get it .

Not really, companies like NVA, POU etc will get a reevaluation if they merge, and it will be a win for them, as long as they dont merge with the likes of VII generations, Arc or companies that already have great evaluations.  IMHO
