POU's longer term holdings are indeed impressive , I will throw a little into the pot for now and a lot more later after I clean up on the gassers. Thanks again.

There is more that people dont know about. You can't compare POU with other E&P companies, they have a lot more going on then anyone understands. IMHO

Amd this is why I like pou so much the family has a 47% interest in the company shares... they obviously believe this company is worth multiples of 5$... and they can force big swings in the share price with the right circumstances they control 63000000 out of 134000000 shares ... i so t see any other oul and gas producer that has that kind of clout

In addition to these factors you guys have been mentioning; it's the low share float. 1/3 of the share float of most other mid sizers. important to remember this usually causes shares to go lower, but then also go higher than other peers with higher share floats.

Myhoneypot...: now riddle me this .. pou owns those 10-12 plays you just mentioned correct? so why are we only worth 5$ a share when the sale of karr alone at 1.9$b would triple the share price instantly

Ok I do get that but say he could get 1.5b that essentially quadrupole a the share price n one swift stroke my point is we are sitting on 12-14blion in land assets at today's rate but we are only valued at 666$million plus debt .... that's what I can't seem to add up here

Regardless read some of HP and raymondjames posts going back years. They've been saying pou was undervalued since it was a $10 stock. It could easily be a $15 To $20 stock if not for the collapse in oil prices and the abysmal investment environment for oil companies in Alberta since 2018...stay long friends

Lots to read tonight. I was long at $10 and own 4x more when the price collapses into the $1s. This can easily be a $4b market cap. Would love $10b but would take $4b in a heartbeat.

mind my asking what your average cost is? Forgive me if that's not an appropriate question, I'm new here.

Low $3 now on common shares. Deep in the money calls as well. My problem is I buy on all dips. We are still way too cheap.

At 4bln that put this roughly at 32.50$ per share

Regardless - when pou starts peeling off $4 FCF per share (hopefully 2022) this will be $20. Discount heavily due to ESG concerns etc and we get to $20.

HP are you just speculating they may entertain selling these assets, or is that discussed in a company presentation, news release or a chat with ceo?

To be fair HP, Liard and any other northern assets are useless. It's all dry gas and should be written off given the transportation costs, and brutal NG prices. In addition, any other northern Alberta and NWT assets they may have are also useless imo; good luck selling oil out of the remoteness of northern Alberta or NWT without a main pipeline (which is never gonna happen IMO).

Honey pot they may want development but it's not worth spit to produce anything up there ...costs are almost triple than what they are in any other basins , thwres a reason why chevron amd all the majors pulled out and left liars to be a dream.... I count liars as worthless unless gas goes to 4-5$ and stays there a few years

perhaps they can do like the Russians are doing in Siberia i.e use the natural gas to power computers to manufacture Bitcoin.

Forgive my curiosity but are you gleening all this only from quarterly statements? You sound more informed than most. Again, apologies for my curiosity.
