The natives are restless

Why settle for a stake in TMX when you can have the whole enchilada? On the plus side, if/when the pipeline springs a leak they'll have no-one to blame but themselves.

>>>Group seeks 100% Indigenous ownership of Trans Mountain pipeline Nesika is not affiliated with any industry players and won’t own a stake. Instead, it’s trying to facilitate a deal that would see 129 indigenous groups along the pipeline own it all

Not sure how pipeline ownership with 'no equity requirement' or 'zero liabilities' works. Sounds like they want all the reward and zero risk. Go figure eh. They would probably sue the government if/when they mismanage the pipes and spring some leaks. They will also say it was all due to white people's fault and demand repairs paid for. Absolutely ridiculous.  https://www ...more

Might be a good thing, they will mess it up and then we will have to build another one lol but since they already ok'd the path, this new one won't be burdened by all the native opposition on how the pipeline is passing through "sacred grounds"

Of course he's hiding lol. Conviently, he comes down with C19 just before the truckers convoy lol.....ya, right!! How he's still in office is way beyond me.

You take billions of Canadian tax dollars and pour them into Quebec...............that's how you stay in office!
Comment by bttmfischer on Jan 28, 2022 3:45pm
Well that's only part of the answer. The other part is that as P.T. Barnhum said a long time ago: "Nobody has ever gone broke by underestimating the intelligence of the voters". He said that almost a 100 years ago, but it is as valid now as it was then, and sadly we have  the proof of that saying in Ottowa, today.
