PPL Announced Appointment of New President and CEO

PPL appointed Scott Burrows as the company's President and Chief Executive
Officer. Further, the company announced two other executive appointments.

CEO Appointment: The appointment of Scott Burrows to the role of President
and Chief Executive Officer concludes the previously announced executive search
process and addresses uncertainty surrounding PPL leadership. Mr. Burrows has
a robust knowledge of the business and industry, in our view, and previously
served several years as the company's Chief Financial Officer and has been
interim CEO since November 2021.
Other Appointments: PPL further announced the appointment of Jaret Sprott to
the role of Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer and Eva Bishop to the
role of Senior Vice President, Corporate Services. Cameron Goldade continues
to serve as interim CFO as the Board continues to explore candidates for the
position. Harry Andersen, the former Senior Vice President & Chief Operating
Officer, has departed the company to pursue other opportunities.
Scott Burrows Biography: Mr. Burrows has many years of relevant experience,
serving as CFO of the company for approximately seven years, and previous held
Vice President roles in Capital Markets, Corporate Development, and Investor
Relations. Prior to his CEO appointment, Mr. Burrows successfully led initiatives
surrounding strategic planning, acquisitions, divestitures, and financing at PPL.
