My understanding is Canada has been successful when the situation is mirrored and they have gone after the US in such a manner as Lonepine a US domincled company bringing proceedings against the GofCanada. Lonepine and their stakeholders should have a good shot on this one. I belive you are correct that GofCanada has much incentive to drag this out as a Lonepine success will fuel tremendous jurisprudence for other permit holders in Quebec and exposure could be well into the Billions.
