RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Some somber thinking! Probe is about to be bought out.Hi Rosehill,
You know I love your posts and thanks for the data, but the sentence, "The average Top Exploration Executive salary..." is a little confusing. Hard to be a "top" executive and "average" at the same time.
I understand they are giving a range, but look up average salary for an MD in the states and you will find the number is about $237,000. The top Docs make over a million and some several million. I personally don't want the average cardiac surgeon when/if I need cardiac surgery. And I certainly would not invest a chunk of money anywhere near what I have in Probe if I thought the Chief Executive of the company was anywhere near average.
The average Junior Exploration company goes bankrupt. In my opinion, David Palmer is one of the best in Canada. We have a project that is going to lead to many posters on this board making hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars when it sells. JMHO
It sounds like I am in the minority, but top people in their respective fields don't make just a little more than the average people in their fields they make several times as much. Look at any field, average major league baseball player makes a couple million, top players make 25 million.
I will continue to invest in companies that I believe are run by Allstars. Beating a dead horse, but investing in any company run by someone who is not at the top of their field is a recipe to lose a lot of money. JMHO
Best regards, JM
