In  Canada the  information  is totally incomplete as the  shorters within the  houses  have free  reign to sell their own  clients stock short and  are not declared on the  short report. Thats  why I always put a sell in  of any holding  at  multiple  of the trading  price  and  why  CIBC  doesnt  like  those  shares being  in the  system.  They cant  be  shorted  when they are  up for  sale.

True.  CIBC has new rules regarding the "limit" pricing too.   Essentially, you could put PRB up for $ 2.26.  They will not let you go far above the current asking price I think it's maximum 10% or 20 % ... ( need to read the changes ).  They are trying to discourage people from over asking .  The result... more shares for them to hold in short positions .
