250k limit is only for individual investors not for corporations.For corporations the tax increases on every amount over zero dollar. Many rich people like doctors use corporations for running business and investments. They might be liquidating to avaid the tax.

How many pro reit shares traded in last 10 days. may be 700k. that is only close to 1% of all shares.
