RE:RE:RE:Collingwood wants this REITArmoyan doesn't typically want to own the companies he invests in. He buys enough to have leverage on the board and then uses that leverage to realize fair market for his investment. Whether that is going private or breaking up the company shareholders are usually the winners. He is also quite happy to go slow if he can park his money for a good dividend.
What we have to remember is most ProReit properties are co-owned with Crestpoint who are much bigger than ProReit.  That adds a variable that would need to be considered if you were to think Collingowood was looking to control the direction of the company.
