IR says

IR saysI talked to Kris yesterday.

He had a good answer to why the transfer hasn't taken place yet. They need to be methodical and do it right they don't want anyone making a claim afterwards and then have to face any legal blocks. Also it is a process that depends on the governments speed and from what I have learned about SA they are slow moving. However he expects it soon and it good be any day.

He expects (hopes) for a re rating on the sp once the ownership is finalized. He also thinks the delay is an advantage because when they go to put a deal together its in an environment of $1700 / oz platinum not $1500 or less.

With a shortage of platinum predicted for 2010 their is more incentive for a larger player to take us out or at least take over or jv on Project 1. This could have a very happy ending soon. I'm holding till this plays out.
