You must have different mining stocks in your portfolio than I do.  All of mine took a hit today, especially right before the Fed announcement.   Add to this the $40M closing PR, and maybe some margin calls and/or stop outs, then it isn't so surprising.   You might not think that this PR should do anything, because everybody already knew … but offerings often have a double impact, first when they are announced, and again when they close.  Maybe not everyone is paying close attention, and some people just trade on the sound of a headline?  Not sure why, but I see it a lot.  

Being a contrarian, I added a speculative bet at $1.64 (US).
