RE:RE:Pie in the sky, anyone?Friedman vs Jones? Jones, in my book. I would not invest in a Friedman project / company, regardless of past or anticipated success.
IVN has 3 large assets. Platreef is one, and their PFS suggests Platreef has about a $2 B NPV (with an 8% discount rate). Add another $1 B for their Kamoa copper mine, and whatever the Kipushi project may or may not be worth.
I'm not going to try to convince you (or Homerun) that PTM's "risk adjusted" share price is appropriate. Though, when someone posts that PTM should be trading above $20, or that the company is for some reason downplaying the production potential outlined Waterberg project by a factor of 2 … Then I feel compelled to post a "reality check" for the benefit of readers who might not know better.
You may want to consider for your own benefit that it's prudent "not" to expect more from the company, than the company is telling you is possible in their own PFS. Such things can happen in mining, but it really is more of a rare exception, rather than the norm. And that $500 NPV? … That is not at current PGM prices.
I'm long PLG/PTM, plus recently added an additional speculate bet (the later, I might unload in the next rally), so obviously I "want" SP to increase. SP isn't going to increase by anyone's posting unrealistically optimistic opinions. I saw that habit way too often on the PAL board.
If this board begins to sound too much like that old PAL board … then I know it's time to sell.
