RE: New Presentation - Jan 18 2011

RE: New Presentation - Jan 18 2011The only thing I don't like about Parex is that it is taking them quite a while to test their wells and no guidance as to when they can get to them.
That said, they gave quite a bit of info on Kona - which is their near term growth engine.  2-2.5K bpd potential per well on natural flow just from the Mirador?  Very nice.  Stick a pump on that and you could see a lot more.  And what might the C7 zone produce?  How about the Gacheta?  From the map on pg 11, looks like perhaps 4-6 more development wells are needed at Kona.  We could be in for a nice surprise at Kona - hopefully Kona 3 isn't another highly deviated well and they can test all the zones properly.
With ongoing drilling from a large capex program, several wells testing and waiting for testing, there should be a steady string of news all year long.  I just wish it would come faster.
