sorry, but I'm confused as to what you are doing???...

I have put in plain-old, simple sell orders, specifying a limit price... and the duration can be quite a long time, not just 1 day...

EXAMPLE: sell 97,000 shares of PYR at limit of $20, good until Nov-27...

an order similar to that was accepted immediately by the system, and is just sitting there now, until it expires, or I decide to change/extend the expiry date...

it will not fill unless PYR hits $20, and even then, only if the buyer is willing to buy (any of) the shares for $20...
