RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Chain of events.Thank you Sandy. Actually, I did work as an engineer in the aircraft engine developer and manufacturer in Canada though I studied Physics at the highest level.
You're a rich one! The only stock which I own that has a cost basis of nearly US100K is CODX on the NASDAQ. They are the most precise PCR test on the market so I refused to sell at US$30 and am holding. AVG cost of US$16.25/shr.
It is none of my business to advise you on SONA. But they are in the same COVID-19 test as CODX, However, they do an antigen test (and it's really fast) but their specificity and sensivity are relatively low as compared to CODX's PCR test. It is probably similar in results to Abbot's. antigen test or lower than claimed by Abbot. But the false negatives provided by the antigen tests are too much. to ignore. So my advise is be very aware of SONA's testing capability and trade accordingly. Still, Abbot's test is used in high through put cases because of its cheapness. Also, please check if SONA has acquired the EUA from the FDA or is entitled to receive it because there was a change yesterday or so on the treatment accorded to EUA requisition..
I recognise PYR as a stock in the right business for investment purposes and I do intend to buy. But I've set a limit of a total of 5K shares. Even if it goes up in price, I will acquire it. For insttance, I acquired IMMU whern it jumped on very good news at about US$26/shr and recently sold at about 85,xx within a few months after a buyout offer.. I did the same with CCXI - acquisition at around $34 or so when it made a tremendous jump and sold at nearly $50.
I don't want to give the impression that I only acquire winners but my gains overwhelm the losers. And I.ve stopped being an investor who holds forever! I had HPQ since the last century and only recently disposed of it. Sorry, not your HPQ but the US one!
All the best
