Most recent ships are Diesel Electric anyway nowadays, and those that aren't have inline shaft generators capable of producing more than enough electricity to power way more than the house load of old.
With almost all ships running 690v 3 phase there is more than enough ....
perhaps the install would need to wait for a refit or a drydock, and a refresh of the diesel electric generators to a quad set up of CAT 3500's....
But .... You fire up 4 of those bad boys....and they just puke power
The average bow or stern thruster likely pulls more than the PAWDS - especially on the initial start up current....
