Nothing to Worry about

after a 22% gain, it needs to digest yesterdays actions before moving up.

This is healthy for the stock.
Comment by LastZaz on Jun 04, 2021 10:45am
Exactly. Keep in mind we are on the NASDAQ now; more eyes on the stock.  It is an extremely common occurrence for a stock to dip a few points after a 10% gain... let alone a 22% gain lol. Lots of trading time to go, but this is normal. News is still great for the stock price going forward. Shorts should be very concerned. Very.
Comment by Baconator on Jun 04, 2021 10:53am
Take a look at nsci.v, similar price movement on there bullish trend. Big 26% gain followed by a pull back now back flirting with new highs again today.

STFU. I have told you all along I have been long. I only bash the pumpers on this board. I don't bash PYR, the stock.
Comment by ottov77 on Jun 04, 2021 11:26am
unfortunately that statement is not backed up by your very heavy and aggressive bash history on this board. Anyway either you finally got the price you wanted, decided shorting was futile or this is merely a short respite in your negative post can't be sure. If you have bought in good luck,......but I will remain sceptical of your motives.... we will see.
Comment by fdfd12 on Jun 04, 2021 11:31am
I have NEVER bashed the stock. I always bash the pumpers on this board. Here is an ex: of what I hate to read and it deserves bashing. "oh, news release this afternoon" "tomorrow we will get an order of 100 torches" this is what I am tired of hearing over and over and deserves to be bashed. Go read my f...... posts
Comment by ottov77 on Jun 04, 2021 11:39am
Don't have that kind of time considering that in one day alone a  you posted OVER 30 POST with nothing positive to say. It would be hard to keep up.
Comment by fdfd12 on Jun 04, 2021 11:41am
Nothing positive to say about the pumpers. A lot of positive to say about PYR. Only negative thing I have said about PYR is its valuation. For a $1B market cap, you need $200M in yearly sales not $20M. For now, PYR seems to be on its way.
Comment by RealistDontalkm on Jun 04, 2021 11:42am

Nothing said. I just did some research on SHOP. In 2015, its first complete year of earnings, they did Revenue of $205M with 80M outstanding shares. At that time, SHOP had as much potential as PYR does now. On the other hand, PYR has $20M in sales with 155M shares. Do the math. As I said, only thing I question is the valuation. Go to anyone and ask, "have you heard of SHOP" They all ...more

revenue and profit are too different things... look at percent wise... ps. commercializations hasn't happen for pyr till late last year...still bought and held thou :)...  enough said...
Comment by fdfd12 on Jun 04, 2021 12:03pm
Both Revenue and profit are important. PYR has low revenue and theri profit depends on their investment on HPQ's share appreciation. Right now, PYR is, on its own, doing maybe .02 each quarter on its own. This next quarter, HPQ has had share depriciation. It has gone from $1.20 to .84. That means that you will see a big minus earnings for PYR this Q.
Comment by MaxMach on Jun 04, 2021 12:07pm
You're ignoring the growth rate. A PEG ratio would be the most appropriate metric for determining valuation. And yes, I'm aware that profit and revenues are two different things.
Comment by fdfd12 on Jun 04, 2021 12:12pm
Totally agree. But remember, we are comparing it to SHOP's growth rate which higher than PYR's unless if you are a pumper on these boards. PYR present market cap $1.2B and last yearly sales of $20M SHOP 2015  market cap $2.2B    and 2015 sales of    $205M    That is why I say there is a valuation problem here. Nothing is more growth than SHOP ...more
Comment by MaxMach on Jun 04, 2021 12:28pm
Sorry. I don't care about Shopify. I'm simply saying that PYR is not overvalued at its current PE and growth rate. It has a PEG of .26 assuming a 100% growth rate. (Conservative)  It's first quarter earnings were up 700%.
Comment by MaxMach on Jun 04, 2021 12:38pm
Just took a look at SHOP. They're growing at about 110% and have a PE of 95. This puts there PEG at .86. Anything approaching 1 is considered fully valued.
Comment by fdfd12 on Jun 04, 2021 12:50pm
And what do your numbers show for PYR? Of course taking out the HPQ investment to get the PE?
Comment by fdfd12 on Jun 04, 2021 12:41pm
I don't think that is right. PYR's earnings are not that strong. As I have said, the earnings are impacted positivly by HPQ investment. You will see this coming Q, PYR will have perhaps earnings as low as -.10 to -.15. You have to check out the earnings of PYR without the help of HPQ. Taken from their earnings release on May 17. Basic Earnings per Share (EPS) of $0.02 for Q1 2021 as ...more

Comment by fdfd12 on Jun 04, 2021 12:54pm
If you are indeed lon Thinkbig, you have the cirucular of PYR. Please tell me on page 7 how many shares Peter has exactly please?
Comment by MaxMach on Jun 04, 2021 12:52pm
PYR had a basic eps of 28 cents for 2020. EPS can be calculated quarterly or annually as far as I  know. One would use an annual eps if using an annual growth rate to calculate the PEG ratio.
Comment by fdfd12 on Jun 04, 2021 1:06pm
Sorry MaxMach but I have a different EPS after 10 minutes of calculating. Last 4 Q was 0,0,0 and .02 for a total of .02. I went into SEDAR to check. The 28 cents if HPQ investement and NOT PYR. only .02 is PYR of the .28. This is NOT bashing, it is stating the facts.
Comment by MaxMach on Jun 04, 2021 1:22pm
Maybe I am being too simple in my assessment and considering one time gains. My bad. Both TD and stockwatch indicate an EPS of 25. This likely includes the one time gains that you're referring to.
Comment by fdfd12 on Jun 04, 2021 1:28pm
Yes you are correct. I went to each income statement and look at the operational gain.
Comment by MaxMach on Jun 04, 2021 1:39pm
Thanks for clearing that up.
Comment by Bajabeacher on Jun 04, 2021 1:42pm
Hey fdfd12 give it a rest nobody cares what you say. You have no credibility here. Don't forget to mention that shopify has about 1 billion in debt...PYR 0. This is a growth stock, can't really compare the two companies. Apples and Oranges....Beachbum

What Is Shopify's Net Debt? You can click the graphic below for the historical numbers, but it shows that as of March 2021 Shopify had US$909.2m of debt, an increase on none, over one year.Apr. 30, 2021

If you want to compare companies, Shopify isn't the best example because it isn't a tech stock. A better comparison would be Wavefront, which offered cutting-edge productionand environmental tech to the oil and other industries. It even sent drilling tech to Australian miners, and an environmental services company in New York. The company anticipated being a billion-dollar company in 2009, ...more

Comment by gojotv! on Jun 04, 2021 2:43pm
Shopify is an internet company. Its business is not selling industrial tools to other companies. Wavefront is a better comparison to PYR than Shopify.
Comment by fdfd12 on Jun 04, 2021 2:47pm
Wavefront is .07. You are comparing PYR to a $6M market cap?
Comment by gojotv! on Jun 04, 2021 2:58pm
Yes. I've seen all this before. Wavefront used to be a big deal Motley Fool and oil industry analysts like Jim Letourneau were singing its praises. It was the Next Big Thing. But selling to industry isn't like selling to consumers. Industry moves verrrrry slow, if at all. And a signed Letter of Intention and corporate planning can turn on a dime. So, compare apples to apples, not to ...more

It has a PE of 26 and its first quarter revenues were up 700%. I actually don't think that its valuation is an issue whatsoever.
