There has to be some significant news so the shorts would have to cover. The news hasn't come so far. A 36 torch contract would do it. Right now, the shorts are still there.

Consolidated short position as of Nov 15th out today with 31.6% of volume being short they still managed to reduce the short position by about 100k shares But if covering 100k shares caused the price to rise 87 cents, then how much will it rise when they need to cover the whole position!! From the trading this week I would assume that the actual outstanding short position is much larger already
