Pyrogenesis Canada Inc > GROSS MARGINS
View:
Post by fdfd12 on Nov 16, 2021 8:14am

GROSS MARGINS

has dropped drastically from 59% to 43%.
That is something to watch.

I am sure the pumpers here are going to say that 43 is a much
higher number than 59.

But it goes a long way in proving that you are working for your shorter boss. We expected you to show up and try to disparage the last quarter results. fdfd is a basher working full time for shorters.
Comment by fdfd12 on Nov 16, 2021 8:21am
Answer the question. Why did the margins drop? Are they lowering there prices or what? Answer the friggin question directly.
Comment by Thinkbigsti69 on Nov 16, 2021 8:30am
Like I said in a previous post bashers and shorters do not do proper due diligence because they only care about spreading lies and fear just like fdfd12 does and will be doing all day. Cost of Sales and Services and Gross Margins Cost of sales and services before amortization of intangible assets was $5,174,062 in Q3 2021, representing an increase of 98% compared to $2,610,119 in Q3 2020 ...more

Taken from your post. Smell the coffee and wake up. I was talking about Q2 2021 to Q3 2021 from 59% to 43%. "The gross margin for Q3 2021 was $4,052,531 or 43.5% of revenue compared to a gross margin of $5,532,526 or 67.9% of revenue for Q3 2020."

I think your problem fdfd12 is a lack of literacy on your part. If you had read what I had just posted you would understand. What a moron you are!
Comment by therealmccoy on Nov 16, 2021 8:44am
fdfd12 is definitely a moron.... who else literally cr@ps on their own investment/talks down on their own investment.... doubtful fdfd12 owns any shares and definitely isn't a "professional" investor like he claims to be, his technical analysis is garbage, and the rest of his "insights" is pap/dribble at best!!!!
Comment by fdfd12 on Nov 16, 2021 8:48am
Mccoy, I am analyzing the facts. The margins dropped and we need to know why? Don't close your eyes to facts
Comment by canyousayiii on Nov 16, 2021 8:55am
Without much analysis, considering the many different products they have, the answer is pretty simple: product mix. But, overall they are very healthy and no need to waste any time figuring it out to come to the conclusion that it makes sense.
Comment by Duke101 on Nov 16, 2021 8:57am
fdfd12 please do your DD because you are starting to look like a fool. PYR has many divisions and cannot be expected to have the same gross profit in each because they are in different markets. PYR has 49% gross profit in DROSITE division and 59%+ gross profit in the TORCH divison, different markets and different competion.
Comment by fdfd12 on Nov 16, 2021 9:01am
First of all, I am no fool. Product mix may be the answer. It has to be confirmed by the CEO not by you. It is easy to say product mix if the margins drop but we need confirmation.
Comment by canyousayiii on Nov 16, 2021 9:18am
If you looked at the breakdown of revenues by products, you will notice that they are drastically different than Q3 2020. ATS accounts for close to $4 million while they did not own it last year. That is easy to see....and then if you don't want to use your investment experience where you should be reviewing financial statements, just read the confirmation provided by the company in the news ...more
Comment by fdfd12 on Nov 16, 2021 9:22am
Fool or no fool the bottom line is that they sold products which had lower margins than other quarters. I will not sell shares but some people may not read in detail and see the lower margins and sell. Let's hope not.
Comment by canyousayiii on Nov 16, 2021 9:53am
That is certainly what the financials show. Since you are concerned whether people will interpret this or anything correctly, why don't you do a CFA-type valuation analysis on PYR and assess the current fair value of PYR's shares? Or why do you ask questions where the answers are provided. Anyhow, your analytical research and recommendation may help folk decide what to do with them ...more
Comment by fdfd12 on Nov 16, 2021 9:57am
It won't take much time to do that research. PYR is $800MM market cap with present revenue of around $38MM per year. No where near enough to support that. That is why the stock is dropping as I write this. We need contracts for torches.
Comment by Dividends on Nov 16, 2021 10:33am
No ultimatums. Whales waiting on gvt. Should we layoff the staff now until then and just have CEO do sales and leads?
Comment by sparky5 on Nov 16, 2021 6:17pm
as far as i can see a loss is a loss...there is too much hype and today tells you that...

Sparkys spark sputers.  cant see reality from Bull.  Chooses to roll in the bull.

Thinkbig, you are adding no information to this board. You only insult when something is said that you don't like. I will challenge you. With this news report, where do you think the stock price will go today? Do you find this a great report? Give me  a price
Comment by sumpineh on Nov 16, 2021 9:00am
To fdfd12 I think you are wasting your time arguing with this gang here. No matter what the SP does today or this week, this BB will spin it as positive. You are right to ask questions but you won't get a true answer unless MidTownguy comes forward with it.

The gross margin for Q3 2021 was $4,052,531 or 43.5% of revenue compared to a gross margin of $5,532,526 or 67.9% of revenue for Q3 2020. As a result of the type of contracts being executed, the nature of the project activity, as well as the composition of the cost of sales and services, as the mix between labour, materials and subcontracts may be significantly different. Just for you sumpump ...more

Ask Peter on the call today. Likely due to Supply price increases, as with the entire world.
Comment by Casavantsghost on Nov 16, 2021 9:00am
Are you here to convince us this is a bad number???? What's the average for a corporation??? You can hold a gun to a prospective buyer when they are waiting on free taxpayer money to buy torches and the like can you?
