Inventory

I wonder if the company has started manufacturing torches to have as stock so when the orders come in they can deliver asap rather than increasing the backlog.
I think we will find out in the upcoming financials as they would be reported as inventory, or assets ready to be sold.

Was wondering the same thing 18months ago when we were told that 100’s and possibly 1000’s torches would be needed. The answer then was that Peter said, it can all be handled with subcontracting some parts. My take on this is they would have to wait for an official contract before they start buying and subcontracting millions$ in material. . .

I would think that it would be hard to make them in advance, I think they have to be made specifically for each application. I'm only guessing. I'm sure once they do get the order there will be instances where a number of torches will be the same and in that instance, they can make them in quantity. Jmo

Pyrogenesis said the torch assembly bolts into where the old one was . Same bolt pattern It's just a matter of " off with the old, on with the new " and even without stopping the furnace..The differences would be in the nozzle/ orfice ...Peter said torches can be made quickly. Mass produced @ the newly expanded plant in Montreal...Pyrogenesis has experience building plasma torches ...more

KJS4381 - no I don't think it would be hard as they have all the spec seeing they have already done computer modeling for the three customer who have enquired. Also with the request for quote they would have got all the specs in able to provide the quote.

Yes you're right, I forgot about the modeling, that definitely makes it possible to start any anticipated orders.
