From another source: The January effect is the supposed seasonal tendency for stocks to rise in the first month of the year. The January effect is said to occur when investors sell losing stocks in December for tax-loss harvesting and repurchase them after the New Year.

Has anyone heard of the liquidity effect? Currently about 80% of Venture listed stocks are near non-liquid. Nothing will move if no one is investing. So far the Small cap rally is no where to be seen. Very disapointing start to 2024!

One that we know of even had notification they would be delisted from the NASDAQ due to listing guidelines and instead 'voluntarily' delisted. The delisting was inevitable, a failed attempt to uplist and major costly mistake. There were other costly mistakes by upper management and the board. Good luck to all!
