Hyper Focus ?

I don't understand the focus on 7500 shares at yesterday's close. There are multiple possibilities as to why bids are retracted. Conjecture is worthless, especially given the volume that is at play.

I have mentioned this before but I'll mention it again. Another very positive NR yesterday on fumed silica. Pyro continues to execute its strategy

im still very satisfied that Pyro will produce solid contracts that evidence broad commercialization of its products in the near term.

I'm also pleased with the amendments to options. This is indicative of continued cash flow management. Loyal employees willing to wait for the big payoff.

I've been away from this board for awhile. That does not mean I'm less invested in Pyro. I'm just in a different time zone right now. I like reading up on the shorties but don't see much benefit at all in engaging.

Firmly staying long

In a thinly traded stock that is followed mostly by retail, I agree that all sorts of stuff can happen at the close usually consisting of deliberate manipulation (yes, regulators take issue witht his but good luck enforcing it on hundreds of stocks if not much more) or simply trying to be opportunistic.  Also, good luck with trying to do something on MSFT or any blue chip with your few ...more

It's continued cash flow. It keeps employees happy and I speculate it is reducing payroll expenses in the short term. 1.8 million in the short term is a significant benefit especially given capital expenses noted in recent PRs. As for dilution, I don't see it as significant in light of the benefits I've enumerated.  of course, time will tell. I'm as confident as ever in Pyro ...more

Ok, to reduce the confusion, let's make sure we both understand the facts. The way I am reading this, these are HPQ's warrants and it is unusual for warrant holders to exercise warrants that are pricier than the stock on the open market. I think you are thinking that these are PYR warrants and are deep in the money.

Correct. I may have confused people. I'm treating Pyro and HPQ as being in a symbiotic relationship. I don't think there is any denying that. Money is needed to construct the fumed silica pilot plant. Whether raised by Pyro  or HPQ at this point is not material to me. The point is that funds are being generated for construction, hopefully.  if I had the time I could make the ...more

From the Agoracom interview, from the 29:00 minute to 34:00 minute mark: The 50 ton per year (tpy) pilot plant (end of 2024) will de-risk the fumed silica technology and have the stock moving.  We won’t have to wait for the 1000 tpy (2027). Also note that the 50 tpy pilot plant is already budgeted at HPQ and PYR.  And 63% of this plant is financed by the provincial and federal ...more

If they are announcing the construction phase and said that they had already procured some equpment, I would take it at face value that they have the funds to do that.  It was explained that they got some money from various governments as well.  If they don't have the money to build the pilot plant, then different wording should have been used in the news release as far as I am ...more

Good points, but never said they didn't have funds. However, it's not a bad assumption given history. Lots of moving parts at this time. I'm not invested in HPQ. When I initiated my position in Pyro, I considered HPQ but decided to not invest. Essentially, the Pyro intetest accesses HPQ, while offering multiple commercialization opportunities.    I have to think HPQ ...more
