Anyone notice that in contrast the NCIB never happenned to my knowledge. Anyone surmise why PYR has had a PR twice saying they were initiating a NCIB yet needed funds to operate ? Why n ounce that you will buy back shares when there doesn't appear to be company funds sufficient to do so , and then never actually buy back shares, while insiders sell? Seems incongruous to me. Any thoughts?

The best reason I can think of, is they put the  MCIB into effect, just in case  excess money came in. Then they would be able to buy shares back if they wanted to.  If they didn't have it in place and the extra money was available,  they wouldn't be able to buy back the shares. NCIB - promotion, marketing, boucane - when you are that far down the rabbit hole, there is room to buy back shares. No shares have been bought back providing Stockwatch outstanding share data is correct. PLAN announced a NCIB. Questionable. Royal Bank and CAE recently announced a NCIB, they are indeed in a position to do so. Good luck to All!

Common smokescreen tactic. Any intelligent investor would have known it at the time given their balance sheet. Sadly "intelligent investor" is not a common theme in the PYR investing community.
