mrreliable,

mrreliable,I do not consider myself an expert by any stretch! However, from what I gather,QEC has not written off the Beaver River field by any means.Personally,I can't see how they figure they can get any amount of good gas out of there, because of all the water, but it sounds like they figure there's still a good chance of a higher structure existing in the Nahanni, along with untapped compartments.(along with higher potentially productive zones). I don't know, but have a hard time imagining them throwing any more money in that direction! But who knows?Stranger things have happened, and it sounds like Wayne Hauck and Arcis know their stuff,so maybe their 3D re-processing will prove to be accurate.I wonder if that has something to do with the litigation??? 3D can be an awesome tool if it's read correctly. That's why I would not bet against their chances of success of another Beaver River Drill,if they went ahead with it,or for that matter, against their chances of success in Simonette.Obviously, being in partners with Cabot Oil is a big plus.Going by the size of Cabot, one has to assume that they've got people there who have seen plenty of 3D before.Rather interesting times!GLTY!.
