VMD at $14 and QUIPT at $8.70?

Correct me if I am wrong but I see no reason that Quipt cannot have a share price as high as Viemed. A good M and A program with the right participants can do wonders. It doesn't have to occur through buyouts if the participants are large enough. Quipt has been very adept at improving cashflow and ebitda via rhe use of economies of scale as their buy up companies. That will continue but one

I meant that in the shorter term VMD would be higher. I agree that QIPT will catch them eventually. The next couple Qs should be an eye opener of what is about to happen. I'm looking forward to them.

The spread between these 2 are not at all justifiable except perhaps the methods of expansion used to growth the companies and debt levels of each company. I think Quipt has a higher ceiling with the path they are taking. As far as taking on debt during the expansion process? Once all the ducks are in a row re: TSX listing and being added to the Russell index a small share offering would be enough

I think in time that QIPT is a prime take-out target.  However we'll have to be a bit more patient given the present economic environment.  I suspect with rates on the increase, many prospective buyers are determined to keep their powder dry and not take on more debt or raise new capital short term.  I think a buyout will come but it's probably 2 years out or more based

It looks like the shorters are running to cover again. They mistakenly thought the share price was being pushed down to the low 8's or high 7's. Wrong! Qipt is bullish again and going to $10 in the short term and $12 to $14 by year end. Notice to all shorters! Qipt is not worth shorting. There are many other companies with weak balance sheets and poor performance y/y that are much better

LionGate7, as a long time shareholder in both companies I would agree that the spread in the SP is puzzling. However the gap should close when Quipt is given a fair trading multiple to its peers in the group, Viemed being one such company. As you say the spread may be unjustifiable, but closing ground it is not because VMD has recently corrected off the latest up swing. As noted by analyst's

Vmd has a higher multiple because the playing field was not level when the two companies were spun out. Qipt started out with a going concern caveat whereas vmd launched with a solid core business. The bar for Qipt was then raised even higher because of the Dalsin fiasco and venture exchange listing. The move to the big board and the coming 2 financials should put us on level footing with vmd.

Just own lots and lots of both and you cant go wrong. The hedge theory here works wonderfully. Yesterday was just another of many fine examples of it. No sweat in the arctic.
