BID

I had a bid in @ 8.98 yesterday , fortunately it was not filled, feel sorry for all that bought the last few days over the 9.00 area, however , with some patience things will turn out just fine and todays hurt will become a distant memory.

regards

This doesn't explain why the financing price was so damn low. What's going on that we don't know? imo

Because they had to move fast on something. Its why Cooper wasn't even aware of it.

if he was he would be trading on inside information?   ask yourself why would they buy five million shares if they aren't optimistic that they can sell their shares at a much higher value in the future.  They are now long the stock.

Are you saying Doug Cooper is fraudulent?? I'm going to send him an e-mail and let him know what you are accusing him of.

many bought deals are done at a steep discount of 30% or more, as the buyers are assuming all the risks going forward of share ownership.

Underwriters get expressions of interest before they set the price so they know the likelihood of a bought deal getting done thus no great risk. It also tips off the hedge funds to sell short and cover with participation in the deal.           https://www.theglobeandmail.com/business/article-proposal-to-ban-short-selling-ahead-of-deals-to-shake-up-junior ...more
