RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Friday - 3pmYes, janspab and pearfloor, I think you pretty much have the big picture. Imputation of trading is withdrawn, janspab. My complaint is with the breathless "going to explode at 3pm" stuff. (Fishtail, come on down, you started it!). There is unquestionably lots of short term unpredictability in a stock like this, due to the possibility of litigation speedbumps, counter-suits, etc. But so far, it is doing an excellent job of delivering, and those of us who followed Skippens career at Mosaid now have a chance to see him doing what he probably wanted to do there, and could have.
Yes, the stock is undervalued, but the market always undervalues companies that can't be valued by conventional metrics, and litigation-driven companies are among them for good reason. So it will be "undervalued" until a succession of big settlements, favourable outcome in Markman next year, or other compelling developments give market a solid reason to change perception. Like other longs, I think this will happen; like other longs, I'm used to not holding my breath, and don't like to see "Friday 3pm" pumping because that just destabilizes the stock.
