dd q for the dayOK, guys. Enough with the dissing, unless you want to drive all the new readers of this board away.
Q for the day: Mostly, trying to predict sp for a company like this is blue sky speculation. But one useful piece of info would be about the institutions that hold 45% of the shares. Depending on whether they are early-in, early-out; momentum players; long-term holders looking for dividend growth; or whatever, this would help predict their selling (or holding/acquisition) patterns over the next year, as we go thru January. Given their size, this could be a big influence on share price. Related question: depending on their objectives, institutions would likely have differing views on a major Nortel deal, which would trade balance sheet strength and maybe even dividend increases in short term away for long term potenial. So...anybody know anything about these guys, the big holders especially?
Re S class, AMG etc: useless unless you live near an autobahn. We don't. Why not just hang a sign around your neck saying "I'm an insecure status seeker." Or buy a Focus instead; new model soon, looks terrific.
