RE: RE: Momentum is completely gone now ...What do we need to reverse the sell-off? (Can't remember who asked this.) Two things: (1) good fundamentals, esp future prospects. We've got that. (2) Change in psychology of holders. This is happening right now. Profit takers and nervous hands are being replaced by buyers at these levels, most of whom will be here for awhile. Why? Because there isn't any giant milestone to key on, just a series of positive developments stretching out thru 011 and beyond, some bigger than others, none anywhere near as important as the one we just had. So buyers will be holding, some waiting for approach of analysts targets (10ish), some looking for longterm dividend growth. Volumes are the good news here: this turnover is happening fast, so will be finished fast. Don't know when, my guess is sometime this week. Or next. From a longterm perspective, this is non-critical.
Very hard to watch what's going on without getting an ulcer, itchy trigger finger, etc. Therefore I'm outta here; plan to check back end of week or if unexpected news happens. Good luck to all, and hope you'll all be here smiling by Friday. Those who ride this out probably will be, by then.
