Unfortunately, it seems I was the only one on that board!
After the Google offer, I sold, I re-analysed, then plowed all my MMI profits into WIN. And today, I increased my position in WIN. Why? Because I think WIN provides the best chance for another world-class player in IP, and this latest move is bold, at once a growth play and a PR play. It also signifies to potential licensees that WIN is as aggressive as they come, that it would be better to license than face litigation.
I have no idea how this all will turn out, but a combined WIN-MSD entity would be formidable.
