Q2, October, etc.Re immediate prospects: yes, no doubt all the parties are looking at recent court outcomes, reading tea leaves, adjusting strategies, etc. Ultimately, if they are on the same page re strength of the claims in October, there is a basis for settling in advance. Unpredictability of juries is a gamble for all, so not compelling for defendants either to use going to trial as a strategy.
Re Q2: market is underwhelmed, but strong top-line growth has to be very positive for WIN longterm. Litigation costs are short-term cyclical, but revenue is more stable due to multi-year settlements. So, Win should go to profitabiliity very quickly as current ligitgation cycle eases off (but not in next quarter, it seems). And, as the guidance says, future settlements are not reflected in this picture.
Bottom line: if you like the co., no reason not to keep liking it at this point. Definitely no reason to sell when Mr. Market is in a funk about it. If you don't like it, then you should already be out.
