RE:RE:RE:EPS and BuybacksELJ   I don't disagree with what you are saying.  I thought, I covered the granting of options in my last sentence.  As for reduction in value due to expenditure of cash to buy back shares, this is of course obvious.  There are few companies that appreciate in value UNLESS they increase their revenues.  Buying $100 million in cash with no change in income rarely results in increased share price.  I personally buy stock in the hopes of increased earnings.  This hope is is based on what the corporation says.  In the case of Wi-Lan, I feel we were led down the garden path by Skippen.  He has yet, as long as I have been a shareholder, delivered anything close to his hype.  An unhappy shareholder who recently sold a chunk at a loss of over 40%.
