RE:RE:RE:WI-LAN potential valueThis forum is pathethic actually. Filled with bashers who have an OCD like fixation with bashing Wilan, who are here day in and day out filling the forum with pathetic trash. Quite disgusting. They should shut this forum down.
To say Wilan has no potential other then the 802 patents is simply unbelievable. Wilan has over 10K patents and dozens of patent families that they can license. They have just purchased the Qimonda patents (which are probably as significant or more than Wilan's 802 patent), have major relationships with Japanese and Korean technology companies, have a major portofolio of Flash storage patents from a leading player in the industry, not to mention portfolios of patents from many other major companies (Samsung, Panasonic. etc.) and smaller companies with key technologies.
Altogether, these patents could bring in 100s of millions of dollars, much more than the original 802 patent.
