RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Wilan will be sold

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Wilan will be soldThe impression I had of PH on yesterday's call was that he is a Tech Operations and  M&A guy - not so much an IP licensing expert.

I don't think QTRH is really thinking about throwing in the towel on Wi-lan unless they receive an offer they can't refuse (i.e. Viziya-type double your investment in < 3 years).  I think JS will still have a lot to say about divesting Wi-lan.

Contrary to the 5G expertise that PH said he could leverage for the benefit of IRD and wider ITS efforts, MF and Stanwood bring far more value to IP acquisition and licensing.  Would Stanwood even stick around or would he be part of a Wi-lan sale?

Wi-lan value is still hidden for the most part, so it will be tough to find a buyer who will pay $3-5 per share for it any time soon.
