RE:Patents in Auriga vs. Intel (settled)

RE:Patents in Auriga vs. Intel (settled)

I think you're on the right track mrmoribund.  The NR did say that the Intel license was a MULTI YEAR TERM license.  I'm sure analysts will probe for detail (or as they say, colour) at the 11/5/20 conference call.

If previous QTRH/WILN (sort of) disclosures on multi year deals (most signed in the 2011 -2013 period) are a template , QTRH would probably say/infer a time range, but not be specific, and probably say that the revenue would likely not be as high in susequent years as the initial license since there was some retroactive payment involved this year.  I doubt the multi year term will extend to the exhaustion of the patents involved, as QTRH may want to retain the right to negotiate a new license that includes additional/new IP...hopefully for higher dollars.

That is good as deals like Intel and the TSMC deal can provide a springboard for a higher mutiple on the Wilan sub.

The stock still needs visibility on the ITS strategy execution to gain real life and traction.
