RE:Apple decision

RE:Apple decisionThanks Joey for your supportive post on a possible Wilan connection to the Blackberry patent divestiture.

On Apple, you are simply wrong as it pertains to iPhones 6/7 models.  This is weeks away from clarity, not years.  I will acknowledge that there is a very, very outside chance that the case is returned to the district court for a 3rd trial.  However, if you listened to the oral arguments, you know that the CAFC judges are very, very unlikely to do that.  A decision on the 6/7s should provide a template for non adjudicated models and a pathway to revenue.  But, as we well know, Apple will fight this as long as it can.  That is why the Wilan divestiture discussion is taking place: collect the near term revenue from iPhones 6/7 and let someone else fight the rest of the litigation-based IP licensing actions to conclusion.

The Q3 call should be informative.
