My timeline is based upon the fact that in the oral hearing the concenus of the court especially, one of the Judges said they would like the parties to go back and try to reach a negotiated settlement between the parties. Apple appealed the 109 judgement and Wilan wanted original .145
Court wants to give parties time to negotiate and not give quick decision.
Apple IMO will not settle and I believe there must have been some talk but to no avail.
IMO I do not believe decision is precedential as it relates only to damages awarded by court due to jury decision. Court in oral argument seemed to reject non-infringement by Apple. Most precedential cases would be of Supreme Issue.This case IMO not.
In any event , I am in no hurry to exit QTRH after decision but I would like successful decision for one main reason.
