The reality is negative momentum is hard to reverse. And most tech companies are feeling pain. I don't think people understand ITS and how interest rate sensitive it is. The cost to finance the building of a new highway was tripled in the last 9 months. Any reasonable politician would wait until inflation receded and interest rates declined.
So the backlog will remain a backlog and RFIs will be issued but no contracts will be awarded.
Eventually ETC will do fine. But the key question remains... will they have enough cash to make it to the other side?
You can have a good business, but if you have too much debt, shareholders can get wiped out before they get paid.
Maybe there will be a magical reversal on Thursday. Or the two negative quarters will draw a trend line that leads to an unavoidable conclusion.
