Of course there will be short term traders . As for you investing in indexes and etf's that great for the average person. Since your a PM you should be able to make money in any market circumstances??? Unless you have very little time to dedicate. That's why having the top advisor doing most of the heavy lifting is well worth the .40% he charges which is tax deductible for me.
I do hold t-bills at the moment with a certain percentage of my portfolio.
As I have mentioned 5% weighting is minimal risk . I have held my top 5 stocks for over 15yrs avg.
Warren buffets Berkshire holds 80% of the portfolio in 7 stocks???? Buy hold and do your homework to make mega returns.
Nope. Not what you said. Nobody goes back and studies all your prior posts for innuendo and subtleties. I can't care what you said before this post. But what you did post was this. You want to now go with a revisionist version? Don't care. Your broker, if indeed he made the foolish statement you ascribe to him, should not be making such unsubstantiated stock pumping promotional statements. Surely you know that. Sounds more like boiler room, or locker room bravado than the top advisor in Canada
" hopefully before 2026...........My broker says that there is still a large retail shareholder base that will not sell before$5.00-6.00 levels..........."
this is not the equivalent of "the group of long term retail investors that he is aware of will not sell before 5-6$or until end of 2026."
And neither version is top advisor material.
