Nothing goes up in a straight line forever.  Its been a powerful week or so.  A breather is completely needed and normal.  A lot of volume today was in the $2.60's range. And as i said...traders will smell there is enough volume now to wade in and out. Grrrr. Now we wait to see if there is news that prompted this or this was just getting some of the huge unrealized value back

I finally took a page from my book of regrets about Quarterhill, and started selling at various points on this rise up. My biggest sale of shares just so happened to be at yesterday's high at 2.71 - so pretty happy with that. I've kept about 30% of my shares tucked away hoping this thing truly does skyrocket into the 3's, or even 4's; but I've held onto Quarterhill way too many

$3.50 is my line in the sand to take profits. After holding so many years I've become greedier. Lol

$2.50 was my line. I've been hoping to fund some needed reno's with this holding for a while, so I was happy to achieve that goal, while still holding a little for the future.

I may buy back some more shares closer to the Apple verdict (assuming they don't spontaneously settle), but I didn't want to wait another 1.5 years when there was some pretty good profits for the taking right now. A bird in hand, right? This wasn't my retirement plan anyway - just a nice chunk of change for the house.

During the wave of settlements in 2011, the Intel license agreement occurred two weeks before the WiFi litigation ended and all the major players settled. Intel as the largest chip manufacturer agreed to a price and the rest followed suit.   We won't have a litigation event to drive this to rapid conclusion, but this could encourage a wave of renewals and/or Apple to come to the table

I suspect you were early on the exit cactus and this run has legs left....at least to $3....but nothing wrong with making a money.  Enjoy your reno.

Not a big surprize. RSI was sizzling. Even with the big volumes. I "considered" flipping a few for a lower price but the momentum has been very strong. RSI can sizzling for quite a while under this kind of strength. QTRH has doubled since the low in March. A bit of consolidation and hopefully back to an uptrend.
