QTRH

As boring as it has been the stock is making progress ie. building a stonger base at these levels.

The powers at present are accumulating in a tight range which BTW is ever so slowly moving up!
If we close today at $2.58 or higher then we accomplished the highest weekly close since DEC. 7th! Thats 4 weeks folks! Last week we closed at $2.56. As irrelevant as some may think, that is of great importance!

TSX, support is at 17611.50 and a weekly close above 17684.10 will show further strenght.

OIL, hanging in did not reach 52.82 still strong considering all the doom and gloom of cimate hysteria!

GOLD, not looking good trading UNDER support of 1912.0

Anyone who trades MORE THEN THIS STOCK and can make a living out of it need to know ALL the bacground noise since they're all connected! Right AUSTEIN?

BTW FEEL FREE TO IGNORE!

A lot of the algorithmic models out there won't touch stocks that aren't trading with consistent direction of the 10 / 50 / 200 Moving Averages.  They like to see clear directional momentum on the upside or downside.   We are trading above the 10 and 200 DMA, and awaiting confirmation to bring momentum money back in, closing above the 50DMA of 2.62. The other major ...more

Too bad technicals and what is going on elsewhere in other stocks groups has nothing to do with us.  We trade on news.  Anyone who has been here for any significant period of time knows it.

If I were Paul

If I were Paul Hill, I would settle with Apple for a discount add a $100M USD to the bank.  Get this stock immediately to $4.  With $300M Canadian in the bank, could pursue a $500M transformative acquisitions taking on some debt.  This could catapult this stock to enormous returns.

V_guerriero, Apple is too entrenched in their "we do not settle with patent trolls" to offer anything but peanuts. The only way to get Apple to settle at a fair license amount is to win in court. That's just the way Apple rolls.

But I also think that QTRH is being equally challenging here.  As they are looking at the win figure, plus the units sold after the case period.  They are probably slobbering at the potential of a $200M reward.  And then the ability to keep launching lawsuit after lawsuit like VirnetX did.  There is always a deal to be made.  This would be a massive catalyst.   ...more

While the traditional wisdom is that Apple does deal with trolls, they reportedly offered $25M, although it was too late to be consisdered by the district court.  A low nine figure settlement now would well recieved by investors.  Apple is not just chalenging damages, but also claim construction and validity...so there is risk to to QTRH as well in playing this out to the bitter end.

Yes, and a $1 royalty rate on phones would impact gross margin by 0.5% which is worth billions to Apple valuation.   There is a deal to be struck here.   Just hit 2.63.  Just above 50DMA.  The accumulator was outed and there is no sell volume.  This moves higher.  and if we get above 2.65 the machines will start to buy again.

When Apple sees our cross appeal brief to be submitted by Jan 29 Apple may be more inclined to settle.  Let's hope and be optomistic that we are asking court to go back to original 145 us plus post  iphone 7 sales which could take us to to 200 millionUS plus interest of approx 25 million to take us to 225 million US.   Cross-appeal extremely interesting.

The Apple case is way in the future some time in Q3, WIN does have a massive pipeline in play with other cases, I like what i am seeing with IRD.  A Biden Admin is planning on spendding Billions on Roads and Bridges, this will spike IRD's sales and with the new addition of Fiber Optic Censoring it will make IRD even more desirable and competitive. Sales numbers are going to continue ...more
