Delayed until Feb 12.  WiLan asked for another extension on Jan 19.

Sure.  QTRH corrected when Apple appeal was lodged.   It may go up when people read that WiLan is asking for the original $1/ unit award to be reinstated and reject all of Apples appeal arguments which are not new.  And then they do the math that when that licensing rate is applied to all phones subsequent to iPhone 6 and 7 are applied.   And that WiLan's appeals

Sorry, was that $600M USD in licence fees for the VirnetX IP or $600M USD in fees for the lawyers? :-) And don't you mean the original US$0.85 / unit (not $1)? Or did WiLAN originally claim US$1 and that was reduced to US$0.85 in the first trial??

Correction.  VirnetX won more than $400M in first trial.  They have already been paid by Apple.  They then paid a nice special dividend to shareholders. Then they just won another case with nearly $600M in total judgment plus (coincidentally) a 0.85 ongoing royalty.   VirnetX is important to watch because Apple's position of never settling is starting to get very costly

The request for the second delay raises my antennae that whatever is being worked on, and the market is sniffing out, may in fact be impacted by this appeal process.   Whether an outright sale or combination with VirnetX or a deal with Apple, pretty odd to ask for a second extension.
