Frustrating

Our lawyer must be extremely frustrated.  He started by saying he had three things to discuss.   They interrupted him and said just a couple of quick questions - and then took up all his time. He never did his presentation.

Even when he answered they never once acknowledged it - just "Yeah, but........"   

What was the point of the previous trials.  Huge waste of time.  At least she said can you guys not settle this?   In  other words "Apple you are infringing so pay them something fair and WiLan accept it"

Don't be frustrated by Lamken not getting a chance to get into his three areas. It could just as easily be that the judges were already sold on the overall picture he "wrote." Sometimes it's the winning lawyer that gets cut off because the judges feel they don't need to hear it all again. So, with regard to him never getting to talk about the cross-appeal, it could be that ...more

I get the "Can't you just settle this?" question in the light that basically Apple doesn't have arguments and pretty much agreed with Wilan on a lot of stuff, so the judge probably was upset that a "slam-dunk" case like this wouldn't have been settled yet.
