You don't understand the implication of this... do you? Brett is loyal to Align Capital.  As soon as his contract is up as part of the sale to Quarterhill he will be a CEO of another one of their platform companies. He gets paid ~$10 million for each of these exits.  He ain't gonna get that with the Quarterhill show.  Especially with his options now underwater.
