Competition Bureau Puts Big Hole In Roger's Boat

Having the Comp Bureau come out dead against this merger, even after selling off Freedom Mobile, is at minimuum going to create a very long delay, and most like will scupper the deal entirely. It is going to be very difficult for Rogers to argue that buying Shaw does not further reduce competition in an already, non-competitive market place. Share price on both is already reflecting the streets beief that this merger is likely dead.

Knew it! Had a feeling I should of sold .  hopefuly they will do a 1x time additonal dividend with all the extra money from not purchasing or just avoid more debt. Rogers does not need shaw .

Agree. Rogers does not need Shaw. im not a buyer unless it goes in the 50's again.
