beat expectations

beat expectationsAccording to info at globeinvestor.com, EPS expectations were 26c, but we came in at 33 c. I am sure others are much better able to analyze the news than i am, but it all seems positive to me (including having a big increase in cash), but currency played a role as well-- "The increase was due to ongoing efforts to reduce product unit costs, favourableproduct and customer mix, in addition to the favourable effects of a weakerCanadian dollar versus the US dollar." On a year over year basis, the loonie is down a good 20-25%, which i dont see happening again; indeed, it might very well rise against the greenback. Not a major point, i think.
