M&A?

any activity in this sector? May be good target as price has dropped for no great reason IMO.

Obviously. But it could also be an acquierer. REAL has a very strong balance sheet.

In their most recent presentation they laid out a timeline for acquiring fast growth businesses over the next 5 years. They expect to start acquisitions by 2023. I would guess they only plan to wait that long so they can focus on boosting their own profitabilty and marketshare even more first.

Does anyone know why they missed the marketshare goal in the US for the appraisal business from the IPO targets?  Is this a reason to be concerned? Was it addressed in the investor Day commentary?
Comment by sunshine7 on Dec 01, 2020 11:04am
Apparently not a concern to the board director who recently bought a substantial position recently.

Of course not; he is a value guy; used to run CI; he knows the long term value is in this name.

It was addressed. They didnt miss that IPO target. The targets were set for the end of next year and they've already hit 4 out of 5. They still have a year to hit the last target before it can even be called a "miss"
