RE:RE:RE:RMP Gold CreekI do imagine the potential suitors from October were trying to scoop RMP for a firesale price...I remember some comment guessing a buyout value not much higher than the sub-dollar trading value at the time. I took that as scorned shareholder negativity at the time but also considered how the wolves circling the mortally wounded RMP would be looking for the easy kill with just that level of price in mind.
No doubt parting with Ante Creek for the price paid was a great bargain for the purchaser but that was the price paid by RMP to keep the rest of the chips in the game. Chips that will grow much more valuable with a little work to establish cashflow, prove up potential and demonstrate a development path. The ball is firmly in RMP's court and it looks like they're going to do what needs to be done to beat back the wolves and create shareholder value. Nothing adds more value and shareholder confidence than successful execution. Let's hope RMP is up to the task.
