RMP Gold Creek

RMP is in the right Neighborhood, and they can take their time. In a recent presentation on Paramounts new focus they put RMP land right in the sweet spot of the Montney. Futher north it does get sour and people don't want sour.

However Parmount is next door and are so confident in the area that they are drilling 25 wells with 4 rigs, with two mile laterials. Now Nuvista has jumped in themselves and with their receint fund raise will be drillin up their land in Gold Creek.

Gold creek is happening, and RMP is taking it slow because each section that Paramount sold to 7 generation just to the south they felt they realized 10 million dollars. If paramount and nuvista prove up Gold Creek and rmp drillis a few wells and gets similar results. They have enough land for a major resource play. I am sure Jim Riddel know Dereck Riddel and they are exchanging notes, the fact that RMP property is a bolt on for Paramount, i would not be surprized to see a take out.

In any case black bird need to get fly the pincher creed corridor and hopefully one of those wind mills will put them out of their misery. I think after a few wells start coming in RMP will be 2 dollars. Slow and steady, because evenyone in the neighborhood is going fast and pedal to the metal.

I agree that RMP remains a prime takeout.target and now free of bankline desperation.  But if they want to attract top dollar they have to do a good job evaluating their lands.  Four tied in producing Gold Creek Montney Hz's by Q2 or 3 2017 will be a start.  They'll do a darn side better than $1.10!

$1.10? I bought more shares at $0.65 and less and just got a fill today at $0.69, an order placed last Friday I forgot about.Too heavy to keep it all beyond Q1 but hope my other investments will do well and no need cashing this one too soon.

I do imagine the potential suitors from October were trying to scoop RMP for a firesale price...I remember some comment guessing a buyout value not much higher than the sub-dollar trading value at the time.  I took that as scorned shareholder negativity at the time but also considered how the wolves circling the mortally wounded RMP would be looking for ...more

I wouldn't call a $103 million net debt reported in Q3 vs $100 million line a mortal wound. There were many means to solve the shortfall but the liquidity would be limited and not enough cash to maintain current production plus grow Gold Creek. I think, the company missed it's chance in Q1 2015 when it could issue equity at $4 per share or more. Crew, Kelt and a few others did it and were ...more
